The 12-20 Shenzhen landslide refers to the landslide that occurred at 11:40 a.m. on December 20, 2015 in Hengtaiyu Industrial Park, Phoenix Community, Guangming New District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. The disaster landslide covered an area of about 380,000 square meters, causing 33 buildings to be buried or damaged to varying degrees, and as of 6:00 p.m. on December 21, 2015, the total number of people lost due to the disaster had risen to 91, including 59 men and 32 women .
After the investigation, it was found that a landslide occurred in Shenzhen Guangming New Area Liuxi Industrial Park, which was judged to be the result of a damaged pipeline leak and an explosion in the nearby West-to-East gas pipeline near the West-to-East gas pipeline, resulting in the explosion of the gas station and the collapse of 20 plants with huge casualties.
